Reiki classes
As a Grand Master in Reiki, SoulRise Healing Studio can offer the very best in Reiki classes and education. So what is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word that means “universal life force energy” (Rei meaning Universal and ki meaning energy). Reiki is used to restore harmony to the mind, body and spirit. By using gentle touch, the energy in your body can be balanced, thereby creating healing. It is 100% safe for anyone (even pets!) to receive, so is a good option for people who may have other issues.
There is no belief system attached to Reiki so anyone can feel comfortable receiving the treatment. The only prerequisite is the desire to be healed, and for physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing.
Our 3 levels of Reiki classes
REIKI 1
(FOUNDATION LEVEL, FOR SELF-HEALING)
Ready to tune into Reiki and learn how to heal yourself at home, while traveling or when you need a quick energy tune-up at the office? Classes are maxed at 4 students per training to keep the group small and focused. There’s also a private training option that is 3-4 hours long. If you are new to energy healing, I strongly encourage that you try a Reiki session first so it may be easier to understand how to apply Reiki on yourself, and to better understand the experience as a receiver of Reiki more effectively (i.e. if you decide to share Reiki with your loved ones).
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE REIKI 1 TRAINING?
Before attending the workshop (at least 48 hours beforehand), please refrain from consuming alcohol and red meat (especially beef).
In Reiki 1 Training, you will learn about:
- The history of Reiki, our lineage and its evolution
- Energy as the fundamental principle of our existence
- Practice Reiki for self-healing treatments
- Receive Reiki attunements
To complete the full course, you will have to complete:
- a 1 full-day course
- at least 2 Reiki practice sessions (30-60 minutes each)
- 21-day Self-Reiki Healing practice
At the end of your training, you will receive a certificate of completion.
REIKI 2
(TO BECOME A CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER)
Learn how to give yourself and others Reiki with three powerful, sacred Reiki symbol attunements. Students who have completed Reiki 2 can practice as Certified Practitioners of Reiki. Classes are maxed at 6 students per training to keep the group small and focused. Reiki 2 training takes a 1-2 days depending on the final size of the group. On average it takes 8-12 hours to complete.
PREREQUISITES FOR REIKI 2 TRAINING:
- Completion of Reiki 1 Training
- At least 2 Reiki healing sessions (for yourself or for someone else, 30-60 minutes each)
- A minimum 21 day Self-Reiki Healing Practice
In the Reiki 2 Training, you will learn about:
- Three Reiki symbols and the significant details behind each of them
- Combinations of symbols to create powerful healing
- Practice Reiki to give healing treatments
- Receive Reiki Practitioner attunements
REIKI 3
(SELF-GROWTH AND SELF-AWARENESS)
At Reiki Level 3 you get involved in a process of self-growth and self-awareness.
Although the third level of Reiki is focused around the master symbol, Dai Ko Myo, the values of this advanced level do not depend on the symbol itself. What’s important is what it represents in relation to the new vibration.
Symbolically, the same as Dai Ko Myo, Reiki level 3 means enlightenment, positive power, and evolution.
You get to be more in tune with the world around you and the energy that surrounds us.
You get to understand that we are all “under the same roof”. We are all interconnected and we all have the universal energy flowing through us.
What matters is what you do with this energy and how you are going to use it in your evolution process.
Reiki’s 3rd degree may gradually awaken the student to a new state of being. Nevertheless, becoming a Reiki Master does not necessarily make you an enlightened person.
Especially not overnight.

In the “true sense”, a Reiki Master should be a mentor, professor or trainer. An entity that offers knowledge and wisdom and always seeks the path to enlightenment.
You should always seek to work and improve yourself.
Receiving the Master level attunement in Reiki is only the beginning of a new potential spiritual evolution that lies before you.
Sorry, but you won’t be able to fly or levitate!
But you will be able to guide yourself and others to do what’s right.
You should first understand and work with yourself and then there for others

- Help humanity in the slow, continuous process of spiritual evolution;

- Have a positive attitude and to be capable of improving on all levels;
- Be kind to all living things;
- Know the Reiki knowledge, meaning, symbols and purpose.
